This Valentine’s Day, the City of Naga brings love to Batangas Province as its residents cope with the calamity caused by the Taal Volcano eruption.

The City of Naga delegation composed of City Councilors Letty Abangan, Charmaine Navarro, together with City Government Consultant and former City Councilor Junjie Cruz and CDRRMO staff Benjie Hernani are personally making rounds today in the Batangas municipalities most hardly hit by the Taal volcano eruption to convey the message of solidarity and comfort of the Nagahanons to their Batangueno brethren.

The delegation’s first stop is at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) of the Batangas Province wherein Governor Herminaldo “Dodo” Mandanas personally received the financial assistance amounting to PhP 200,000.00 from the Nagahanon community, thru Mayor Val Chiong, Vice Mayor Kristine Vanessa Chiong and the City Council.

The second stop is the Municipality of San Nicolas, Batangas. The City of Naga extends its financial assistance of PhP 100,000.00 for the town’s ongoing relief efforts. San Nicolas Mayor Lester De Saguin and his First Lady expressed their gratitude to the Nagahanons.

To the Batanguenos, the Nagahanons are one in hope and prayer for your fast recovery and rehabilitation.
