The City Government of Naga would like to congratulate the Nagahanon Elected Public servants and career service employees who finished their baccalaureate and master’s degree in Public Administration under the auspices of the Philippine Councilors League – Legislative Academy (PCL-LA) with the Philippine Christian University as partner academic institution.
The graduation rites with 437 graduates was held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Manila last February 2, 2020.
Relating theories in public administration and development with their own hands-on experience and years of practice in public service, the graduates did research work/policy paper and defended these before a panel of academicians and practitioners. Under the guidance of DR. CARMELINO “JUNJIE” N. CRUZ JR. – Academic Coordinator of PCL-LA Cebu South, the Nagahanon graduates include:

PCL-LA Cebu South has 28 PhD, MMPA and BSBA graduates, including City of Naga Liga ng mga Barangay President SCOTT JUVENAL CHIONG who earlier joined the BSBA graduation in Bangkok, Thailand and Argao Vice Mayor JESSA F. MIER, CPA the highest ranking public official.
Cebu South PCL- LA Cebu South is also proud to have graduates which counted among its ranks a DILG Operations Officer, SK Federation Chairman, City and municipal councilors, Brgy officials and LGU employees from Talisay City, City of Naga, Carcar City and the municipalities of Balamban, Sibonga, Argao, Oslob, Santander, Samboan, Aloguinsan and Barili. City of Naga Councilor LETECIA ABANGAN, herself an alumna of the PCL-LA post-graduate Academic Programs attended the graduation ceremony to support her son and the Nagahanon graduates.
