Mayor Kristine personally conveyed her Christmas greetings to all the teachers in the city and thanked them for their significant role in molding the future of the Nagahanon children. At the same time, grocery packs and 5-kilo rice were handed to 1,393 public and private school teaching and non-teaching personnel in batches, including Schools Division officials on December 22-23, 2020 at the City Hall of Naga grounds.

It may be recalled that the City of Naga celebrates Teachers’ Day every 20th day of December each year to recognize the efforts of the teachers. A simpler gift-giving activity was opted this year to adhere to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

Our big thanks to all our teachers and have a Happy Christmas!
