Gipasiugdahan ni Mayor Val kauban si SDS Ronald Gutay ang opening sa Photo Exhibit, “Ang Kabilin: Mga Narra sa Naga”, nga gipahigayon karong buntag sa Gallery for the Art, 2nd Floor, City Hall of Naga.
Ang Kabilin ni-showcase sa mga photos sa mga Narra Trees sa matag barangay sa Naga nga nakuha sa gihimong Narra Survey early this year. The exhibit aims to raise the awareness of the Nagahanons on the significance of Narra in the city’s heritage and the environment. It can be recalled that Naga got its name from Narra.
“Ang Kabilin: Mga Narra sa Naga”, is one of the culminating events of the Family Month Cum National Heritage Month 2023 Celebration as we move towards the celebration of National Environment Month in June.
Adapting an interactive mode, the exhibit also brought in the Kindergarten pupils from the Naga SPED Center to represent the young. The City Government has partnered with the DepEd City of Naga Schools Division in educating the children and youth on Narra, and how they can contribute to establishing Naga as a home of the Philippine National Tree.
The City Government expects more pupils and students from the 66 public schools in Naga to visit the exhibit.
Abli sab ang exhibit sa publiko in the whole month of June, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
