MISSION

In pursuit of this vision, the legislative body, being the backbone of the city’s development and economic growth, will be responsive to the needs and demands of its constituents by enacting legislative measures consistent with the development agenda of the executive department that puts a premium on quality education, health, economic stability, infrastructure development, livelihood, environment protection and preservation, peace and order, and efficient disaster response.

VISION

The Office of Sangguniang Panlungsod is the legislative branch of the city government of Naga, Cebu that truly advocates the tenets of good governance, transparency, and accountability. It is guided by the operative principles of decentralization and separation of powers, with the primary objective of exercising its law-making authority for the welfare and common good of its people pursuant to the general welfare clause of RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991
