Pursuant to Republic Act 10072, the Philippine Red Cross is recognized as a voluntary and independent organization auxiliary to the Philippine Government in the field of humanitarian services during disasters, and health emergencies, among others.
Through the years, the City Government of Naga, Cebu and Philippine Red Cross have been partners in extending assistance to those most in need, especially during calamities, health emergencies and the COVID-19 pandemic.
