Ang maong training gi-facilitate sa City Health Office nga gipanguluhan ni City Health Officer Dr. Camille Peรฑalosa in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH). Ang tumong sa maong training is to educate the BNS and BHW in each barangay on the different types of malnutrition so they can easily determine the cases of children they care for, and how to handle and improve Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM).
Ang DOH nag hatag usab ug Ready to Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) ug Ready to Use Supplementary Food (RUSF) para sa mga bata nga nanginahanglan og saktong nutrisyon.
