BREAKING NEWS: Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia said she will issue an executive order to extend the special permit for modern PUVs that travel from the towns and cities in the Province of Cebu such as Naga, Minglanilla, Talisay, Consolacion, and Liloan to IT Park.
This is because the special permits of these modern PUJs will expire today, January 31, 2023. This means that starting tomorrow, February 1, these modern PUJs will no longer travel on that route which is the usual ride (one ride) in commuters from those towns and cities to IT Park.
“It will cause great confusion and worseโฆ additional burden to the commuting public”, Garcia said on Tuesday.
The EO will take effect tomorrow, February 1, 2023.
