Dagitab Festival is the official grand festival of lights of the City of Naga, Cebu celebrated every December 23. It is identified as one of the cityโs flagship destinations.
Dagitab is a Cebuano term ๏ฟผwhich means light. It covers six aspects of the City of Naga, namely: light, progress, industry, tourism, economic development and employment. It also reflects the festival’s slogan, “Sa Dagitab, Hamugaway ug may Kahayag ang Kinabuhiโ.
The Festival involves myriad shows of lights and colors. From the traditional way, it now follows the contemporary style which symbolizes the transformation of Naga from a laidback town to a vibrant and progressive city.
